Their photography is staggeringly beautiful, their editorial content is culturally rich and sagacious and their stories are undeniably unique (think travel writer David Farley’s food quest through Vietnam, featured in this month’s issue.) AFAR shares uncommon travel wisdom you would never find on your own unless you traveled to the destination and saw it yourself – and that is the definition of great travel writing.
